Brooksville, FL – February 9, 2026 – Pem-Air today announced a significant expansion of its engine maintenance capabilities, adding support for the CFM International LEAP engine family through the General Support License Agreement (GSLA) for Overhaul of the LEAP 1A, 1B and 1C engines. Pem-Air Turbine Engine Services will now offer maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), and field support services for the LEAP 1A and LEAP 1B engines powering the latest generation of single-aisle aircraft.
This expansion strengthens Pem-Air’s commitment to helping operators enhance reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize life-cycle operating costs. The company’s LEAP capabilities focus on the two primary commercial variants:
- LEAP 1A, the exclusive engine option for the Airbus A320neo family
- LEAP 1B, uniquely designed for the Boeing 737 MAX series and optimized for aerodynamic integration and operational efficiency
Both variants deliver up to 15% improved fuel efficiency compared to previous-generation engines, supporting airlines’ sustainability and cost-reduction goals.
